"Fitri: I'm not jealous, I'm just bitter.
Nadiah: Why are you bitter?
Fitri: Because I had a sad deprived childhood. I was always alone.
Sonia: I was always alone too!
Nadiah: Yeah and Sonia's not bitter, she's so nice and happy!
Fitri: She's nice but she's not happy.
Sonia: How do you know?!
Fitri: I can see it.

"How do you cure bitterness?" I asked Nadiah when Fitri went behind. I feel bad that she feels bitter. I might not be happy but I'm not bitter. Actually, I think I am quite happy. Or maybe Fitri's right and I'm not but what's happiness? Is anyone ever truly happy? I think happiness might come from contentment. It might also come from a lot of other things. It's funny that Fitri said that because I was just thinking today that life is good."
